Ayooluwatomiwa Oloruntoba

Ayooluwatomiwa Oloruntoba is a 27-year-old Nigerian-Australian analogue photographer based in Naarm, Australia.

Having completed his MD/PhD at Monash University, where he researched the applications of AI in dermatology, Ayooluwatomiwa’s medical interest in the human condition translates into a passion for documentary photography, capturing the essence of people, events, and journeys that cross his path.

Gifted a point-and-shoot film camera by his father in 2018, Ayooluwatomiwa has since explored a variety of film formats, ranging from 35mm to large format.

Emboldened by inspiring trips to the United States, deeply connecting with the stories and people portrayed in international photographic exhibitions, his photographic journey continues to flourish with exciting new projects on the horizon.
